Welcome to my precious corner on the internet! I'm a software engineer who spends way too much time tinkering with distributed systems and my ever changing homelab. When I'm not dabbling with microservices or trying to convince my containers to play nice, you'll find me building random stuff that I find fun – like this website that I've probably redesigned a dozen times at this point.

Feel free to take a look! Check out the projects on projects page, read my blog where I document my adventures (and hopefully not more than occasional disasters), or take a look at the resume for the professional stuff if that's your thing.

$ whoami --verbose

On the technical side, I've been writing Python and Go for the past few years, with a healthy dose of infrastructure wrangling thrown in. These days at Adjust, I'm knee-deep in Python and on-premise hardware. Before that, I've had my fair share of fun with AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes clusters that occasionally decide to have a mind of their own. I've also got a soft spot for Infrastructure as Code – there's something oddly satisfying about terraforming entire cloud environments from a bunch of config files. Oh, and I used to do machine learning stuff back when I was predicting energy consumption patterns, which was pretty cool until I realized I enjoyed building the systems more than training the models.
